Commercial Case Studies: Warehouse Cleanout!

Challenge

We received a call on Monday for a warehouse to be cleaned out by Friday, that was 11,500sqft and contained over 50 pallets of items. We sent our estimators out on Tuesday morning to take a look, and put together a game plan for the removal. A job of this size and scope with little time put our expertise to the test! 

Solution

We began by loading all the food items into our trucks using electric pallet jacks. There was some trial and error as our truck wasn't perfectly level with the loading dock, but once we got a system in place, we were able to move them out of the warehouse consistently. 

While loading the food, our General Manager, Business Development Manager and Owner of our franchise starting making calls to local ministries and homeless aid organizations to find homes for 8424 Bibles and 2880 blankets. While it took a day, we were able to contact 5 different organizations to help us donate those items.

We finished the removal and cleanup by Friday afternoon, well within our clients time frame, all while another truck of ours completed pickups for our other customers!
